Improving Travel Around the O.C./L.A. County Line
The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (METRO) are working together on the O.C./L.A. Intercounty Transportation Study. The study will analyze freeways, streets and transit along the Orange County and Los Angeles County line and identify needs in one of the nation’s most heavily traveled regions. You can share your comments by completing an online survey at www.octa.net/OC-LAstudy. |

Moving Goods Through Orange County
Have you ever been stuck on the freeway or a street behind a truck or delayed at a rail crossing? With international trade increasing, and a growing number of trucks and trains passing through Orange County, it’s no wonder OCTA adopted a goods movement policy to protect Orange County’s quality of life while remaining business-friendly. For more on what OCTA and its regional partners are doing to mitigate the impact of goods movement, click here.
