Bus Service Changes

Starting Sunday, June 14, the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is making adjustments to bus routes 20, 24, 25, 33, 35, 42, 46, 60, 66, 82, 167, 177, 191, 213, 453, 454, 462, 463, 472, 473, 480, 482, 490, and 701. These changes are being made to continue providing service to bus customers while balancing operating costs with the reduced budget. Your Help Is Needed

Due to the elimination of transit funding by the state and declining sales tax revenue, OCTA is being forced to cut bus service. Substantial cuts are being proposed starting in September 2009. Your help is needed. You can pick up a comment card on any OCTA bus, fill it out, and mail it postage free to OCTA. You can also comment online, by clicking here, or call (714) 636-RIDE (7433) with your comments. Make your voice heard. Send your comments on the proposed bus service reductions to OCTA today.
