OCTA Legislative Platform

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) annually adopts State and Federal Legislative Platforms to identify and direct policy activities in Sacramento and Washington, D.C.  These platforms are intended to be flexible documents that guide activities throughout the legislative session.  Past topics have included the state budget, federal appropriations, homeland security, construction and maintenance of roads and highways, rail and transit programs, environmental concerns, and various administrative and employment issues.

We encourage you to submit your ideas for the 2011 legislative session below so that we can best represent the diverse transportation needs in Orange County.  To view our current State and Federal Legislative platforms, please see below.
