December 13, 2009 Minor Bus Service Adjustments
Only minor schedule adjustments will be implemented on some routes but no trips will be deleted. This page provides information on the schedule adjustments for all routes effective December 13, 2009.
State transit funding and sales tax revenue declines have drastically reduced OCTA’s budget for bus operations. As a cost-saving measure, no new Bus Books will be printed for December 2009.
Routes Affected
No trips will be deleted. However, the following routes will be affected beginning December 13, 2009: 50, 55, 57, 60, 70, 71, 86, 89, 167, 453, 454. Click here to download a PDF of the Riders’ Alert indicating the minor adjustments.
Bus Book & Riders’ Alert
As a cost-saving measure, no new Bus Books will be printed for December 2009. Approximately three weeks prior to the service adjustment and for one week after, look for OCTA’s December 2009 Riders’ Alert onboard buses and online. The current information will also be available through the online eBusbook.
