Vanpools provide rideshare opportunities for commuters and a great, reliable way for your employees to get a fast and inexpensive ride to work. This program helps some employers comply with SCAQMD requirements and offers a possible reduction in your payroll taxes.
Employees living in Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, or Los Angeles County start their commute from a central location near their home and let someone else fight the traffic while they read, chat, or catch a few winks. A $400 per month vanpool subsidy from OCTA helps keep vanpool costs down and makes it easier for your employees to get to work on time.
A few vanpool essentials include:
 Start with 5-15 employees who live in Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino,
 or L.A. counties and commute into Orange County
Be open to accepting riders from neighboring employers
Maintain minimum occupancy requirements
Provide monthly ridership reports to OCTA
